The European Molecular Biology Organization announces its 4th International Workshop for secondary school science teachers.
"Spotlight on teachers" will allow selected teachers who have done something special outside normal classroom teaching to present their work: for example, development of new teaching materials - especially practical experiments - or training of colleagues in new practical methods. All participants will also have the chance to discuss new experiments and approaches with leading researchers and science educators. As in previous EMBO teachers workshops, the programme comprises hands-on experiments for all, science talks, an exhibition area and discussions on teaching molecular biology in school.
