The purpose of the CEE Biosafety web site is to provide information about biosafety frameworks and biosafety activities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)
The website contains information on:
- national biosafety frameworks of countries in CEE
- regional activities for biosafety, such as regional meetings
- sub-regional activities for biosafety, such as sub-regional centres for support
- links to other web sites and projects relevant to biosafety in the CEE region.
Information on this website is updated under the guidance of the CEE Steering Committee on Biosafety, with the exception of the information provided in the pull down menus of the pages "national biosafety frameworks", "sub-regional biosafety activities" and the information on projects on the page "useful links and projects", which is directly updated by representatives of countries and organisations of which information is presented on that site.
