BioTIK Reports on Biotechnology Ethics
In 2001 the Danish Parliament launched the BioTIK-project. It is a four-year project focusing on both the possibilities that gene technology offers, and the ethical principles that
are to be considered in order to make the right decisions. BioTIK is a Danish abbreviation
of biotechnology and ethics. Hence nine Danish Ministries have joined a Task Force with the purpose to incorporate ethical principles in regulation of biotechnology, in decision making processes and as a basis for public perception and information.
