The summary statements from the first and second of a series of four EU Focus workshops on "Who should communicate with the public and how?" are now available.
The first Focus workshop has been held in Warsaw on 4-5 October 2002, the second workshop took place in Brussels on 11-12 January 2003. On 12-13 March 2003 the third workshop was held in Copenhagen. The remaining workshop will be held in Madrid on 13-14 June 2003.
The aim of the workshops is to distill out the experience of those who have been involved in the public debate over the last ten years or so from their various standpoints, for the European Commission (especially in relation to the 6th Framework Programme), European Parliament, national authorities, and other appropriate bodies.
