On 6-7 May 2004, the European Commission Directorate "Science and Society" - "Ethics and Science" is organising in Brussels a citizens' and stakeholders' conference on <strong>"Human genetic testing, what implications?"<strong>
One year ago, the European Commission had invited a high level Expert Group to draft a report on the ethical, legal and social aspects of human genetic testing in research and healthcare applications. The discussion of the forthcoming conference is based now on the report and the 25 recommendations to decision makers and to actors in the field the high level Expert Group has developed.
