EMBO practical workshops are based around hands-on practical experiments that will give participants an insight into the techniques used in molecular biology today. In this way the project aims to widen the scope of biology teachers' practical resources, and build their confidence to introduce molecular biology practicals into the school laboratory.

This summer course is aimed at preparing graduates in science, engineering, medicine and humanities for basic understanding and skills needed for communication careers in scientific institutions, in the media and in public relations. The course deals with science communication and science media production, and combines lectures and workshops, portfolio preparation and is concluded with the final exam. Successful students will obtain certificates and 5 ECTS.
