Targeting cell migration in chronic inflammation

MAIN is a European Network of Excellence co-funded by the EU with a 10 M€ grant over a four year period. MAIN has gathered over 150 researchers and graduate students from 13 research institutes and 2 biotechnology companies It's scientific goal is characterize the molecular mechanisms underlying chronic inflammatory responses, with emphasis on the transmigration and activation of white blood cells from the bloodstream into inflamed tissues.
